The Brunch Room has arrived to Bairro Azul in Lisbon.
We are not just a cafe, nor a restaurant, we do not just serve Brunch or breakfast food. We make comforting, emotional food, “grandma’s in the kitchen” type of food. We want to create a warm and cozy feeling in your belly and soul.
All our dishes are prepared at the moment, always with fresh and high quality ingredients. Our menu includes dishes such as Scandinavian open toast, burgers & bagels, bowls, pancakes, and... French toast with flamed banana, dried fruits, honey and mascarpone... all mouth-watering.
We dream of meals that improve mood, increase happiness, and help bring people together.

O BAIRRO AZUL
“Of the three streets that made up Bairro Azul, Av. Ressano Garcia, the one in the middle, was wide, with beautiful buildings, wide sidewalks and trees. During my childhood and adolescence,
it remained unchanged like a small village, where everyone knew each other, overflowing with familiarity, friendship, understanding and gossip.”
The color blue gave the name to the Neighborhood, which in Lisbon in the 1930s and 1940s was synonymous of modernity and prestige, and businesses at the time proudly displayed placards
and signs bearing that name. In older establishments, it is still possible to observe this trend: Mercearia A Ideal do Bairro Azul; Drugstore A Pérola do Bairro Azul; etc.
The Brunch Room was inspired by the color of its neighborhood, but above all by the feeling of familiarity and neighborhood friendship and by sharing good times with those who visit us.
